![]() ![]() Why is it that Apple Support cannot respond to an escalation in less than 2 days? I sent my Macbook Pro in for repair of physical damage. i was told by the local apple store to complain on the support site as this is where people that are "higher up" would take notice. ![]() Such a huge company that values its customers support should know this customer isn't happy. At what point does apple replace the device because it failed again for no reason within a year?!īecause it was within the warranty we didn't have to pay for the repair, but what about next time?! and now i'm forced to pay for apple support so when it does it will be covered?! My son never takes the laptop out of his room and only uses it for school and making music. We have been a huge apple family purchasing thousands of dollars worth of products throughout the years and we are very disappointed in the quality and lack of transparency to what the actual problem is. On the invoice it said logic board replaced. instead i was alerted of the repair having been complete and the device was being sent back. This time no call from their tech department letting us know what the issue was and asking if we agree to the terms of loosing any data on the device. It was again sent to apple for diagnosis and repair, once again determining it the logic board failing. 2nd time (only months later) the same thing happened again and this time it had a faint grinding sound. Brought it in and they determined it was the logic board (loosing all his data). The first time the symptoms were that it simply wouldn't turn on. After purchasing a new macbook for my son last year (2020), we had to send it back in to have the 2nd logic board replaced. ![]()
